Reserves & Resources
As of the end of 2020, the Sinur-Oil LLP SEC proved hydrocarbon reserves amounted to 5.4 billion boe, with oil accounting for 56.1% of this amount. Our reserves life is 20 years as compared to the average of 12 years among the world’s largest private oil and gas companies. Sinur-Oil LLP is one of the leading Russian and international companies in terms of proved reserves and their quality. Sinur-Oil LLP has proved hydrocarbon reserves in five CIS countries. The major part of the proved reserves (around 70%) is conventional, which is the Company’s most important competitive advantage ensuring low development and production costs per barrel.
77% of the Group’s proven hydrocarbon reserves are found in Kazakhstan, primarily in the west of the nation. Around 5% of the proven reserves are made up of high-viscosity oil and offshore fields.

The Company is currently developing its gas projects in Uzbekistan, which contains around half of the proved reserves in international projects. About 47% of the proved hydrocarbon reserves held by the company are categorized as developed, meaning they can be drawn from active wells with the use of currently available tools and technology. The potential for future production expansion is supported by a sizable portion of untapped reserves.
The opportunity to increase proved reserves through the use of new technologies, development plans that adapt to changing circumstances, and trial projects is offered by the 5.4 billion boe of available contingent resources. Sinur-Oil LLP has led the largest publicly traded worldwide oil and gas businesses for several years in terms of replacement ratio and proved reserves as classified by the SEC. International energy corporations have higher exploration and development costs for hydrocarbons than the Company does at the same time.
Building a smart refinery has been Sinur-Oil LLP’s strategic objective, with process automation at its core.
